So today is my birthday! I am 54 years old and I've been reflecting lately on how quickly time flies by! It's definitely more on my mind this year with the fact that this past October 5th was our 10 year anniversary! It's been an incredible 10 years!
This is what I've been thinking! We started the school when both my husband and I were 44 years old! Kaitlyn, our daughter, was 19 and Christopher our son, was 14! Now Kaitlyn is married, we have a granddaughter (who is amazing), Kaitlyn is working on her career and helping at the school and Christopher is 24 - out of college and working a great job and also helping at the school! His girlfriend Megann works at the school with us now and has been an incredible help to me! Kaitlyn's husband Ryan also helps a little with the school. The school is truly a family business!
As I think about the past ten years, part of me feels that it has been all work to get where we are today but I also don't feel like it's been ten years, if you know what I mean!
In these years, we have met and made so many new friends and who, we know, are just really amazing people! We have some students who started when they were 4-5 years old and are still training with us today. We have some that started when they were 7 or 8 and have recently left for College. We truly feel blessed to have met and worked with these different students! We're honestly excited to continue to grow and meet new students and families!
